Welcome back to our guest guide! I honestly wasn’t planning on reviewing another burger joint so soon. However, after a rather underwhelming experience at Graze recently, Brody and I were on a mission to find somewhere different that actually lived up to the hype.
We decided to check out a new to us local spot, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint! Here is the breakdown of our dinner so you know exactly what to expect when you go.
The Vibe & Service
We arrived right at the dinner rush around 6:30 PM, and the place was bustling with a genuinely great atmosphere. The restaurant was completely full, but we got lucky and snagged the last two open seats at the bar.
Right from the start, the service was fantastic. The bartenders were pleasant, incredibly timely, and extremely attentive—I had three well-timed drink refills without ever having to ask!
The Menu
While we went for dinner, I took a peek at their breakfast menu and it looks incredible—definitely something to keep in mind for your morning coffee runs. The dinner menu is highly focused, featuring a lot of incredibly fun, elevated takes on classic burgers and hot dogs.

What We Ordered
We came hungry (I actually skipped lunch!) and left completely stuffed. The portion sizes here are very generous.
- The Appetizer: We started with the Fried Pickles. They came out piping hot with a perfectly crisp breading and a delightful, tangy flavor. They were served with a delicious dipping sauce that tasted like a house-made ranch.
- The Sides: You get to choose how your fries are seasoned, which is a great touch. We opted to get them “dirty”, and they were amazing. They had a fantastic spice blend, and the portion was massive.
- The Elvis Burger (My Order): The burgers came out looking absolutely beautiful. It was the oddest burger on the menu featuring peanut butter, bacon and the optional carnalized bananas. It was cooked to a perfect medium. It was served on a slightly sweet, fresh Portuguese bun that held everything together beautifully. I do recommend opting for the bananas they were a real treat in each bite.
- The TK Burger (Brody’s Order): Brody ordered the TK burger and loved it. It was expertly made, with the rich flavors of bacon and egg playing perfectly with their signature house-made “oak sauce.”
The Verdict
If you are craving a burger during your stay and want to skip the underwhelming chains, we highly recommend adding this spot to your itinerary. Whether you grab a seat at the bar for a fun dinner or head over early to test out their breakfast menu, it’s a guaranteed great meal just a short drive from the rental!
