Dining at Stone Acres Farm was a truly memorable experience. The grounds are stunning—a beautiful, functional farm that was decorated beautifully for Christmas, creating an atmosphere that was upscale yet intimate and cozy.

We started with a Crimini mushroom broth that was packed with umami flavor—the perfect way to warm up from the cold. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with ease.

For drinks, the Goldfinch cocktail (with ginger and cider notes) was excellent, as was the Pinot Noir. The meal progressed perfectly:

- Course 1: Oysters Rockefeller. These were delightful and didn’t lose that essential briny goodness.
- Course 2: Spinach Salad. The creamy dressing had a zippy vinegar bite that really made the greens pop.
- Intermezzo: A Cannellini bean mousse that was buttery smooth with garlic notes and a salty finish.
- Mains: The scallops were perfectly seared and sweet, served with a squash puree that added a lovely texture. The Pot Pie was a standout—you could taste the freshness of the vegetables taking center stage, while the creamy base screamed New England comfort food.
We finished with two incredible desserts: the Eggnog Crème Brûlée, which had a perfect thick candied top, and the Chocolate Cake, featuring a rich, tableside chocolate pour. Highly recommended for a special night out!
